ISL Medical is the division of Innosense Corporation dedicated to developing diagnostics and therapeutics targeting the healthcare market. Facilities
ISL Medical is the division of Innosense Corporation dedicated to developing diagnostics and therapeutics targeting the healthcare market. Our research and development efforts focus on nanotechnology to develop and commercialize medically relevant products. Our experienced staff do not just develop technologies – we provide solutions.
The Biotechnology directorate occupies 2,800 square feet of space within Innosense. Specific amenities include a BSL2 lab and tissue culture capabilities. The tissue culture facility is equipped with:
- EVOS M5000 Imaging System with cell counter
- Sanyo CO2 incubators
- ST 16 centrifuge
- 20R microfuge
- LS 3000 Cryogenic sample storage
Biotechnology Lab
The directorate is equipped with -80 °C and -20 °C freezers, Synergy™ H1M-multimode microplate reader, Western blot C-digit scanner, autoclave, floor centrifuge and benchtop centrifuges, tip sonicator, and Keithley source meters for biosensor testing.
Innosense’s shared resources include a Class 10,000-equivalent cleanroom, a Phenom Pharos FE-SEM with EDS, DSC, UV-Visible, fluorescence and FTIR spectrometers, and a gas chromatograph.
